This is a traditional Spanish finca located just a 15 minutes walk into the town of Sax.
Although currently the property comprises of a 2 bed 1 bath, with the 10,000m2 plot, it could easily be reformed into a 3 bed,2 bath, with the master bedroom having an en-suite using the existing attached outbuilding
At present, the finca comprises, a lounge diner, a traditionally small kitchen, two good sized double bedrooms, and a large “trastero” or storage room which is plumbed and would make an ideal en-suite for the master bedroom.
There is no doubt that the exterior needs re-rendering and the interior needs to be upgraded but this plot of land alone, so close to the town, would sell for over 50,000€ as it is fully fenced. has electricity, water, over 100 mature olive trees and is divided into three parcels
The finca is located in a private, tranquil setting but is not remote. The views are spectacular including a fabulous view of Sax castle
At 79,995€, this really is a great opportunity especially if you are prepared to do some or all of the work yourself

Sax is situated in the Alto Vinalopo at 471m above sea level.
It is a fascinating city with some interesting buildings The first thing you’ll see, as you approach Sax, is Sax Castle, perched on a rocky hilltop, originally built by the Moors and rebuilt by the Christians in 1239. The castle really stands out over the town, it sits at 500 meters and overlooks the village and the river Vinalopo. It is a rectangle castle with a square tower of brick wall and is from the Almohad period.
The old quarter in Sax shows its clear Arabic origins, the streets actually hug against the rock and adapt themselves to the contour lines.
The Moors and Christians festival is held in Sax during the first week of February. It has evolved since the early 1940s from a mere religious celebration into a festival that lasts for a full five days
The nearest golf course to Sax is Alenda golf club which is approximately 15 km away. There is also a market which is held twice a week on both Wednesday and Saturday.
In the 19th century, and in particularly at the start of the 20th century, Sax began to branch out towards other activities such as flour mills, distilleries and making blinds and cardboard. Today most of Sax’s working population are involved in the industrial sector (footwear, blinds, leather works and furniture). Agriculture, however, still remains an important activity, especially vines for wine.
