I began working as an estate agent after entertaining a number of guests in our Bed and Breakfast from various estate agents in the area, listening to the white lies, sometimes little ones, sometimes whoppers they told their clients. Guests used to ask us for our opinions, of course we had to tell the truth, ‘yes it does get cold in winter’, ‘no you may never get mains electricity in that area’ and so on. We soon became sounding boards whilst our guests made their decisions and it wasnt long before friends and acquaintances began offering their houses to sell and so the business began. What started as a cottage industry 12 years ago grew into a property and rental business in a very short time and we now deal with property sales, long and short-term rentals, holiday rentals and property management.
